Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Crackers

by jerseygirl on February 14, 2011 · 21 comments

Happy Valentine’s Day! I had all these big plans to make red velvet cupcakes, heart shaped cookies and homemade candy. Well, you know what? Life ended up in the way but I cranked out these chocolate covered peanut butter crackers. They taste like the Tagalong girl scout cookies which are my favorite. I added some sprinkles and they are ready to go for Valentines day.

Want to make this easy cookie? All you do is spread peanut butter on a Ritz cracker. Cover with another cracker to make a sandwich. Dip them in melted chocolate and sprinkle with your favorite decorations. Make sure you let them harden on wax paper. Keep any extras (if there are extras) refrigerated.

Enjoy your day!

Oooh. Pretty. I'd like to make some with white chocolate. That's my favorite.

These are far fancier than my Valentine's treats of M&Ms

I had these for the first time at Christmas. They are really good little treats. I also heard they are good dipped in nutella.

I am sure I would not leave these alone – I have a hard enough time leaving them alone without the chocolate!

The salty, sweet, and pb flavor was probably out of this world! They look very cute, too!

This is a perfect way to use up some Ritz crackers I had left over from making a coating. Great idea.

Those look so tempting, I have some chocolates that were meant for my daughter's teacher but somehow are still here…wonder if those would work?!

I love this. What an easy way to make peanut butter crackers into a treat. And it has the best combinations: chocolate and peanut butter plus sweet and salty.
