If you have ever been to Philadelphia, you'll know there are some great Philly food trucks. Recently I went to The Vendy Awards which was a fun time trying the best the food trucks have to offer. It was one yummy day!
Last weekend I attended the fabulous Vendy awards in Philadelphia. It was a gorgeous day with great food. I was amazed that food so good could come off a vending truck. I am now addicted to food trucks and will be visiting Philadelphia frequently to find some of my favorite foods.
While I give kudos to all the food trucks, let's take a look at the winners.
Yay to Pie Stand who gets the honor of winning The Vendy Cup which is one of the best food trucks in Philly. It was a very popular truck and the line was so long that I did not get to try their winning pies. But I heard they were delicious and plan to visit the truck soon.
The People's Choice award went to The Cow and The Curd. They make the best battered fried cheese curds. I could have eaten three plates of the stretchy cheesy goodness with their delectable homemade sauces. They also had Poutine which are French fries topped with gravy, bacon and cheese curds. Is your mouth watering yet?
The Rookie of the Year award went to The Oink and The Moo BBQ. These food truck owners are from NJ (yay for NJ) and they make the best BBQ. I had had their food before and they make great pulled pork and brisket sliders. All their food is homemade including their chili and corn bread.
The last award was best dessert and that went to Bonjour Creperie. I was amazed that they were making the crepes right in front of me on their truck. The crepes were light and filled with fresh strawberries and bananas. There was also a decadent peanut butter smores crepe that was delicious. Enough said!
Congratulations to the nominees and all the Philadelphia food trucks that attended. It was such a great day to try some food and relax by the river. I hope to be there again next year!

Lynne,
They are in different spots everyday. If you go on their website or Facebook page, it will give a schedule of where they will be.
