    New York, New York

I hope everyone had a great Easter and Passover! Our family took a trip to New York City. It was fun to act like tourists and I will give you some highlights of our trip. My kids had the time of their life. We were only there for 3 days but fit in a ton of activities and plenty of food.

First, there was FAO Schwartz and Dylan's Candy Bar. The kids have been talking about going there for months so that is the first thing we did when we arrived. You know candy and toys are two major staples in a kids life.

We ate dinner at Blue Smoke. It was a great choice and the kids loved it. Thanks to Stacey Snacks for the recommendation. I am also going to do another post on our dinner. So more on that another time.

We went to St Patrick's Cathedral on Easter Sunday and checked out all the bonnets and crazy hats at the Easter Parade. The cathedral was just magical. I loved being able to be there on Easter Sunday.

Then we were off to The Museum of Natural History. What a great museum it was! Even though we were there for hours, the kids just didn't want to leave. So we had to finally kiss our museum friends goodbye.

You can't go to NYC without having a corn beef sandwich at  Carnegie Deli. And check out the cheesecakes!

We also had a cupcake buffet in our room. We bought some cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery and Buttercup Bake Shop. I had to cut them so I could try all six!

To end our trip, we had lunch at Ellen's Stardust Diner on Broadway. My kids loved the singing waitresses and waiters. A little pricey for the food but worth it for the entertainment.

Goodbye, NYC! Hope to be there again soon!

I love New York. I've only been there once. with a friend of mine, who was running in the NYC marathon. I only made it to a few select places and everything else was "marathon" involved.

You have a nice looking family.
