Sweet Sriracha Almonds

These almonds are great as a snack or on a cheeseboard for your next party!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 Tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 16 ounces raw almonds
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 Tablespoons fine granulated white sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium size bowl, whisk together honey, Sriracha sauce, black pepper, brown sugar, and melted butter. Mix in almonds and toss until they are coated evenly.
  • Spread the almonds evenly on the baking sheet and sprinkle with salt. Bake for 10 minutes. Give the almonds a good stir and bake for 5 to 10 more minutes or until almonds are crisp. Be sure not to let them get too overdone.
  • Cool for 10 minutes then break them up and sprinkle with sugar. Store in an airtight container.
