Sauteed Peas and Mushrooms
These easy peas and mushrooms come together in one skillet with simple ingredients and are the perfect side dish for everything from weeknight dinners to holiday meals.

- 10 ounces sliced mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 12-13 ounce bag of frozen peas
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Wash mushrooms and pat dry. Slice into even sized pieces. In a large skillet, melt the butter on medium heat. Add the mushrooms and saute for about 5 minutes or untill they start to wilt.
Add frozen peas to the pan and stir well. Season with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Toss the veggies and cook for another 8 to 10 minutes or until peas and mushrooms are cooked to desired tenderness.
For seasoning variation, add onion powder or a dash of soy sauce.
Leftovers can be easily reheated in the microwave.
