Pinwheel Antipasto Skewers

A simple and fun appetizer for summer or any time.

Ingredients

  • 8 thin slices Genoa or other Italian salami
  • 4 thin slices ham
  • 8 slices Land O Lakes® 4 Cheese Italian Blend
  • 12 fancy toothpicks
  • 12 pitted black olives
  • 12 cherry tomatoes
  • 12 small basil leaves
  • Balsamic glaze or salad dressing for drizzling

Instructions

  • Layer 2 slices salami, one slice of ham and 2 slices of cheese on top of each other. Roll in jelly roll fashion very tightly. Trim the ends and cut into three neat pinwheels. Repeat with remaining salami, ham and cheese so you have 12 pinwheels.
  • On toothpicks, alternate olives, pinwheels, tomatoes and basil leaves to make 12 skewers.
  • Place on a plate and drizzle with balsamic glaze or dressing.

Notes

Recipe can easily be doubled or tripled.
