Kamikaze Shots
This classic kamikaze shot recipe hits that perfect balance of citrusy, slightly sweet, and just strong enough to feel like a proper party drink.
Course: alcoholic beverage
Servings: 4 shots

- 6 Ounces Vodka
- 2 Ounces Triple Sec
- sweetened Lime Juice start with ½ ounce
Add ice to a shaker then the vodka, triple sec and lime juice. Gently shake for a few seconds.
Pour into shot glasses and garnish with a piece of fresh lime, if desired.
Use more or less sweetened lime juice if desired.
Regular lime juice can also be used for less sweetness or use sour mix for a sweeter drink.
Also the rims of the shot glass can be lined with sugar if desired. Just moisten the outer edge with a lime wedge or water, then dip or roll the rim into a shallow plate of sugar.
For a blue kamikaze shot, replace the triple sec with Blue Curaçao, giving the shot a vibrant blue color.
Your favorite liquor can also be replaced for the triple sec. Try melon, raspberry or orange liquor.
Try your favorite flavored vodkas for a fruitier shot. I like raspberry and cranberry vodka for a new twist.
