Homemade Buffalo Wing Sauce

- 4 tablespoons salted butter (½ stick)
- ½ cup Hot Sauce I love Frank's red hot sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Add the butter and hot sauce to a pan. Place over medium heat and once the butter melts, add in the garlic powder, salt and pepper.
Mix well (I like to use a whisk) and bring to a simmer. Remove from heat and let cool. Pour in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Sauce can be stored in the refrigerator. The butter might make it a bit lumpy so when reusing, reheat on low heat and stir well before using.
If you like a sweeter sauce, add a tablespoon or two of honey. For a spicier kick, add a dash of cayenne pepper.
