Ingredients
3largeBananas
10OuncesDark Chocolate Chips
1CupCreamy Peanut Butter
1TablespoonCoarse Sea Salt
Instructions
Line a 11x15 baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice the three bananas into ½-inch slices.
Place the sliced bananas touching each other on the sheet pan in a rectangular shape, leaving some room on the sides of the pan.
Once the bananas are in a single layer and rectanglular shape, place the peanut butter into a microwave-safe pourable measuring cup. Microwave on high for 40 seconds, stopping after 20 seconds to stir before resuming. Pour the melted peanut butter over the top of the banana slices. Try not to pour it off the edges of the bananas and keep it closer to the center. Use a rubber spatula to gently spread the peanut butter over the bananas evenly.
Place the sheet pan with banana slices and peanut butter in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
Before pulling the pan out of the freezer, place the chocolate chips in a clean, pourable measuring cup and microwave them on high for 2 minutes, pausing every 30 seconds to stir the chips, until they’re completely smooth when stirred.
Remove the pan from the freezer and pour the melted chocolate over the top of the peanut butter and bananas. Again, try to not pour it off the edge and keep more to the center. Use a clean rubber spatula to gently spread the chocolate even across the peanut butter sheet. Sprinkle salt over the chocolate.
Place the bark back in the freezer for 20-30 minutes or until hardened. Break into pieces and enjoy!
Notes
Almond butter, cashew butter, or sunflower seed butter can be swapped out for the peanut butter.
