Ingredients
12slicesbacon
12large frozen pierogi
4ouncesshredded cheddar cheese
sour cream for serving
Instructions
Partially cook the bacon in a large frying pan on medium heat for a few minutes but not crisp. Remove from pan onto paper towels to let cool.
Add pierogi to pan and saute in bacon grease on low heat for about 5 to 7 minutes turning occasionally. Remove from pan and let cool. Do in batches if necessary.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Wrap the bacon around each pierogi and place on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese on each pierogi. Bake for another few minutes or until cheese melts.
Serve with sour cream for dipping.
Notes
