A Non Alcoholic Berry Spritzer is the perfect low calorie mocktail. You can make this refreshing beverage for a party or just to sip on whenever you'd like a refreshing drink.

A Non Alcoholic Berry Spritzer for Aggie

Today I am celebrating Aggie from Aggie's Kitchen.  She has a baby due in September and we are throwing her a virtual baby shower. It is Italian themed and I decided to go with a spritzer. Instead of white wine, I used sparkling white grape juice. It is a nice refreshing low calorie mocktail that is a summer drink we can toast Aggie with.

Aggie was one of my first blogging friends. We both started our blog a little over five years ago and became online friends very quickly. We have a lot in common as we both have family food blogs and like to cook healthy.  We were brought up with Italian Thanksgiving dinners as children.  We both agree that the main event are the sides and not the turkey.

Aggie has always been very supportive of my blog and leaves encouraging comments often. We soon started a friendship through emails and phone calls.  I feel like I have known her forever.

I like her as a person but I also like her fresh and healthy food.  She always gives me great ideas for family dinners and her photography is beautiful. Several years ago, I started making her Nonna's stuffing for Thanksgiving and  now my family expects that I make it every year.

Cheers to Aggie! I love that girl! Now for more about this Non Alcoholic Berry Spritzer.

What ingredients do you need for these low calorie mocktails?

These berry spritzers have minimal ingredients and you can always swap out different fruit or juice to make a new mocktail. I love the versatility of this beverage!

    • sparkling grape juice - I love sparkling grape juice and it is easily available around the holidays. If you can't find it, feel free to substitute sparkling apple cider or regular grape juice.
    • fresh berries - I like to use whatever is in season. Strawberries, blueberries, grapes, or cherries are all tasty in this drink.
    • club soda - plain club soda is good but  you can also add a berry flavored club soda to give this drink even more fruit flavor
    • ice - crushed or cubed
