2017 Most Popular Recipes: Five Easy Recipes

First Published: December 31, 2017 . Last Modified: August 3, 2018 lisa15 Comments This post may contain affiliate links

Wow, 2017 is coming to an end! That was quick, right? I thought I'd review my blog's most popular recipes with a top five count down for 2017 that has five easy recipes. Click on the photo or recipe title to get the recipe. Here they are:

Number 5 : Easy Ten Minute Wonton Soup

This is an easy recipe that is quicker than getting Chinese take out. Who wants to put on a coat, boots and hat in this cold weather when you can just go in your freezer and pantry? Ten minutes and you have a complete dinner!

    Number 4 : Chicken Shwarma

I love having this for dinner because you can add whatever toppings you like. The chicken thighs are easy to make and since I serve the toppings on the side everyone can choose what they like. My teenage son who is somewhat picky can have chicken on a pita while I will load mine with every topping under the sun.

Number 3 : Italian Stove Top Peppers

Ahhh, sweet comfort food and you don't even have to turn the oven on. Or you could turn on the oven to bake some fresh bread to go with these delicious stuffed peppers.

Number 2 : Whole Roaster Chicken in the Slow Cooker

Put this chicken in the morning and come home to an awesome dinner. Nice and easy plus your house will smell delish!

And the number one recipe that my readers looked up on my blog was....drum roll......

    Sweet and Spicy Refrigerator Pickles

If you are intimidated by canning, this is the recipe for you. The ingredients are available any time of year so instead of buying that jar of pickles, why not make some yourself?

So folks, it's time to reflect and celebrate the new year. We have no big plans tonight but I will be hosting brunch tomorrow. What are you up to?

Best wishes for a happy and healthy new year!

I love these end of the year roundups---yours is full of delicious comfort food! We're staying in, but the kids will probably go out. They're all here for dinner first, so that's fun! Happy New Year, my friend!!!

I am definitely down for a recipe like 10 minute wonton as someone who is always on the go. I also like the sound of the sweet and spicy pickles. I bet they are delicious!

The "Easy Ten Minute Wonton Soup" is something I need on a daily basis. I'm a very busy person and this one doesn't take much of my time.

I have never made a whole chicken before. I always get it already done at the store so that would be a new recipe for me. My husband also would probably appreciate the wonton soup as he eats that with take out all the time.

I agree about going out. No one wants to don the coat and gloves just to get dinner. Way better if it's already in the house!
