This past weekend we took a quick trip to Baltimore. The weather was nice considering it is February and we walked around the Inner Harbor. Baltimore has plenty of great food but this weekend’s highlight was vising the National Aquarium. It features three pavilions of exciting attractions and over 600 specimens of fish, birds, amphibians, reptiles and marine mammals. There is a daily dolphin show along with a 4-D theater. Both my kids, ages 10 and 14 loved the place. My son especially liked looking at the shark tanks. It was a bit crowded since it was President’s Day weekend but definitely worth waiting to see things such as the bright colored fish, pink octopuses and giant turtles. Take a look at some of the things we saw. Sorry there is no recipe today. I really didn’t think a fish recipe would be appropriate.
