Slow Cooker Hoisin Chicken
Slow Cooker Hoisin Chicken is a blend of succulent chicken, honey, hoisin sauce, and aromatic spices. This Asian crockpot shredded chicken is easy to make and can be served over rice, used on tacos, wraps or to top a salad.

- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts about 4 pieces
- 1 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup hoisin sauce
- 1 Tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 6 cloves cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 scallions
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- salt and pepper to taste
Add the chicken, soy sauce, honey, vinegar, sesame oil, and garlic to the slow cooker. Stir until well combined.
Cook in the slow cooker for 3-4 hours on high or 6-7 hours on low. Make sure to flip the chicken breast over when cooked halfway.
Once fully cooked, shred the chicken. I use a hand mixer for easy shredding. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Remove from slow cooker and and top with scallions and sesame seeds. Serve with rice or other side dishes.
