Ingredients

For the Salad

  • 1 lb whole brussel sprouts shredded or Finely chopped
  • ¼ cup red onion chopped
  • 4 slices pre- cooked bacon chopped
  • cup candied pecans
  • cup dried cranberries
  • 1 honey crisp apple chopped

For The Maple Vinaigrette Dressing

  • cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup Olive Oil extra virgin
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Place brussel sprouts in a food processor and shred.
  • Add shredded brussel sprouts, red onion, bacon, pecans, cranberries, and apples to a large bowl.
  • In a mason jar add all of the vinaigrette ingredients. Secure with a lid and shake well until combined.
  • Toss salad with then dressing when ready to serve. Enjoy!

Notes

If you dont have a food processor, fine chop the brussel sprouts on a cutting board with a knife.
Sub turkey bacon, pancetta or Canadian bacon for the bacon.
Top with a protein like chicken or shrimp for a complete meal.
