Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk I use 2 % milk
  • ½ cup strong coffee you can use espresso
  • 2 tablespoons gingerbread syrup or adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Ground nutmeg for garnish

Instructions

  • Brew ½ cup of strong coffee and set aside. Heat and froth the milk until steaming.
  • Stir the gingerbread syrup into the milk. Adjust the sweetness to your liking.
  • Pour the brewed coffee into two mugs. Divide the warm, gingerbread-flavored milk between the two mugs, pouring it over the espresso.
  • Lightly sprinkle ground nutmeg on top of each mug.

Notes

Espresso coffee can be used or just brew some coffee and make it extra strong or to your liking.
If you do not own a milk frother, heat the milk in a small saucepan and whisk until steaming.
Coffee can be topped with whipped cream and a gingerbread cookie for a more decadent drink.
