Candied Maple Bacon
Candied maple bacon is sweet, salty & smoky. It's the perfect combination of crispy and chewy bacon goodness.

- 8 ounces bacon
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper. In a small bowl, mix the Maple syrup, brown sugar and pepper together.
Cut the Bacon strips in half and place in a single layer on the lined baking sheet. Brush the mixture on the bacon and flip to do both sides.
Bake in the oven for 18-20 minutes or until bacon is as crispy as you like it.
Bacon will be hot. Cool for 5 minutes or until cooled enough to serve. Enjoy!
