    How to Make Homemade Butter

First Published: November 26, 2010 . Last Modified: October 1, 2021 lisa13 Comments This post may contain affiliate links

Yesterday, on Thanksgiving, my two kids made a little video on making butter. It was a fun family activity and I loved having fresh butter for our bread. As you can see, you can also get some exercise while doing it. Enjoy!

That sure was a good way to keep the kids occupied.

We had a glass churn with paddles that went into the cream and a hand turn. This was when I was a kid on the farm. It is possible to make butter. It won't be yellow unless you color it but it willb e butter and delish.

How sweet! I remember doing this as a kid in Brownies, it is so fun to see future chefs at work.
