Orange Vanilla Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 - 12 ounce bag cranberries
  • 1 Orange large, juice and zest
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup water
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Put all the ingredients in a medium size sauce pan.
  • Over medium heat, bring contents to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 12 minutes or until berries pop, stirring occasionally.
  • Sauce will thicken as it cools.
