Dunkin Donuts iced coffee made with new seasonal flavors

"I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for new seasonal Dunkin Donuts coffee flavors. I received a Dunkin' Donuts Party Kit to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.”

Remember the days when coffee was for older people? I remember way back when it was not really cool to drink coffee if you were under 40.  My grandparents constantly had a pot on the stove and it was a popular after dinner drink. Times have changed and coffee is in with both the high school and college crowd. My local Dunkin Donuts is a very popular hang out place.  Coffee is great to warm you up in the winter but iced coffee is also a big favorite of mine. I am happy to say that there are new seasonal coffee flavors which I love to make my iced coffee with.

This past week I hosted a coffee party for my daughter and teenage friends. Thanks to Moms Central I was one cool mom! While the kids love to frequent the local Dunkin Donuts, I love the fact that I can make the coffee at home.  What better way is there than to get to know some of my daughters friends a little better? A few of my daughters friends moms came by too but they were picture shy. You are looking at some very happy teenage girls.

We tried all the new flavors of coffee such as Strawberry Shortcake, Triple Berry and Coconut.  While everyone agreed that both the Triple Berry and Strawberry Shortcake were good, Coconut was the big favorite. I made iced coffee and replaced the half and half with coconut milk. While the coffee was brewing, everyone was salivating. I served some after school snacks such as cookies, munchkins, pretzels and pistachios but the coffee really stole the show.

I was was excited to give all the girls some goodies to take home. They all received a bag of coffee, a Dunkin’ Donuts tumbler, a Dunkin’ Donuts tote, an iced coffee recipe, and a  $2.00 off coupon. Can you say swag? We had lots of smiling faces leave our house.

My grandmother drank iced coffee all summer long but I didn't pick up the coffee habit until I got married (my own mother never drank coffee). Your post reminded me of how refreshing iced coffee is on hot days!
