Eating Right With Weight Watchers Snacks

This Eating Right with Weight Watchers Snacks post was sponsored by Weight Watchers International, Inc. as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

Some of my favorite Weight Watchers products

Over the winter, my weight crept up on me. To be completely honest, my weight has been a bit of a struggle the last few years. I've tried to keep it under control but my metabolism is just not what it used to be. Being a food blogger and writer can make it tough to keep myself fit.  I decided to go back to Weight Watchers® as years ago, after I had my second child, the program worked for me and I was able to take off the baby weight.

It's all about eating right but doing s0 in moderation. I love the new Freestyle program with zero point foods because it gives me the freedom to choose what I eat and I am not limited by strict dieting. It makes choosing foods so easy and I can still indulge, especially when I have food blogger events to attend. I have no doubt that I will be able to reach my weight loss goals with this program and the help of some Weight Watcher snacks and other endorsed products.

When I shop at Walmart,  I love the convenience of picking up several low point products that have been endorsed by Weight Watchers. Flatout® Flatbread, JOLLY TIME® Healthy Pop® Popcorn, and Weight Watchers Ice Cream Novelties are some of my favorites.  I buy these products for me, however sometimes I need to be hide them in the back of my pantry or freezer so my teenagers don't get to them first. They are such treats that even my kids, who are by no means watching their weight, like to have them.

The Flatout® Flatbread Light Original are only 2 smartpoints and I eat one for breakfast or lunch almost every day. I love cooking up some zero point foods such as sautéed veggies, eggs, chicken or turkey breast and rolling them in the flatbreads to make a wrap. I also like to snack on a flatbread rolled up with some hummus.

The wraps are delicious and filling as they contain lots of protein and fiber. The flatbreads really help me to eat right. Look for the flatbreads in the deli/ bakery section of your grocery store.

One of my downfalls is that I love a good snack after dinner while I'm watching TV.  So I make sure to save a few points to have an indulgence along with some "me time" at night. The  JOLLY TIME® Healthy Pop® Popcorn is a fabulous Weight Watchers snack and it's only 3 points for a whole bag! I need some serious portion control and these boxes contain individual bags so it is easy to control what you eat.  Even though the bags are only 3 points, they are also big enough to share if I feel like it.

Jolly Time popcorn is a great low calorie Weight Watchers snack

My other weakness is ice cream. How many of us don't love an ice cream treat on a nice summer or spring day? The Weight Watchers Ice Cream Novelties taste decadent but are all under 100 calories and between 2 to 4 smartpoints. The Giant Chocolate Ice Cream Bars are my favorite. They are chocolaty, creamy and giant. But only 4 points? This is one of my all time favorite Weight Watchers anacks and I must keep a box in my freezer at all times! I really don't mind sharing with the kids as long as they save a few for me.

Going back to Weight Watchers was a really smart move for me. I am into the program for almost 4 weeks now and I am getting the results that I want.  It never happens overnight but surely I can see the light and I no longer will be blaming my higher weight on middle age.  I also have started exercising more, eating right and have made better food decisions by planning what I am going to eat. This includes keeping Weight Watchers snacks on hand that I have purchased at Walmart.
