Relished Foods Review: A Great Gourmet Delivery Service!

by jerseygirl on April 25, 2014 · 4 comments

Ingredients.comRecently I had the pleasure of trying Relished, a new gourmet food delivery service. They are a company that delivers a portioned ingredient kit filled with healthy food and instructions to cook three delicious meals every week. I have to say it really made my life easy. The ingredients were shipped to me along with a recipe card. There was no planning, grocery shopping or measuring ingredients involved. I did what I like to do best. It was just simple cooking!

The ingredients were as fresh as can be.  They were wrapped perfectly and my box had plenty of ice packs in it keeping all the food cold.relished

The three meals that I picked out for that week were Hoisin Marinated Flank Steak, Blue Crab Crusted Salmon,  and Maple Bacon Pork Tenderloin. The salmon was my favorite as well as my daughters. My son loved the steak and my husband ‘s favorite choice was the pork tenderloin. All were vey delicious and easy to make.

Relished has different menu choices every week.  They have several vegetarian choices too. Meals can be made for 2, 4 or 6 serving portions. Prices start at $9.95 per serving.

I normally like to cook and plan meals as well as grocery shop. But there are those busy nights where I wish I could just pull out ingredients to cook a quick gourmet meal. Well my wish came true!  This is so much better tasting than any fast food and I feel good serving a healthy meal to my family.

Try Relished and I think you will like the service too. Use the code JerseyGirlCooks and get 50% off your first order!

***For full disclosure, I was sent three meals to try but I was not compensated to write this post. As usual, all opinions are my own.

Even those of use who love to cook need a night or two off. These meals look wonderful.

I absolutely LOVE Relished! The ingredients are so fresh, and the directions are easy to follow. That Blue Crab Crusted Salmon looks awesome, I want to try it! :-)

We have something similar in Chicago, but its called Plated – yours is much more reasonably priced – the one by us is $15 pp – and you have to buy a minimum of 4 portions, so I just couldn’t justify spending $60 for four meals just for me and my husband when I normally spend $75 a week on groceries for us.

They do look good though!
