I am busy planning my Thanksgiving menu and I like to make things easy as possible. We are planning to cook our turkey on the grill so I have plenty of room in the oven for appetizers and sides. While I cook a turkey every Thanksgiving, it is never the main event.
By the time, we are finished with antipasto and other goodies, there is not a lot of room for turkey. My favorite part about having the turkey is eating a leftover sandwich the next day. So it really doesn’t bother me when not much of the bird is eaten.
Here are some of my favorite Thanksgiving recipes. They are all easy and you can prepare most of them at the very last moment. None of these recipes are very difficult and they give you extra time to spend with your family. What is your “must have food” on Thanksgiving?

We are not even cooking a turkey. Told the hubby roast chicken was just fine with me.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Lisa, thanks so much for the link love for my creamed corn! It’s a must have for Thanksgiving, and so easy since it’s a crockpot job. My other must have is green bean casserole. I could eat the stuff by itself!
Great roundup Lisa!!!! Thanks for the love. I hope you have a fabulous thanksgiving.
There’s always room for turkey!
Happy Thanksgiving Lisa! Thanks so much for including my pumpkin bundt in your round up. Hope you have a wonderful holiday! xoxo
Oh wow – the Amaretto Caramel Apple Mug Cobblers sound to die for. I may have to try those for Christmas.
