Food for your New Year’s Parties!

Tonight and tomorrow, I will be reflecting on the past year and looking ahead to the future. We don’t have any big plans but we decided to take the kids to the movies then stay home and play some games while watching the ball drop on TV. Of course, my New Years Eve and New Years Day will involve food. I thought I’d post some fairly easy recipes in case you need a last minute idea. These recipes are also good for the upcoming playoff games and Superbowl Sunday. Click on the recipe title if you would like to get the full recipe. We are having finger foods tonight and some type of pork for New Years Day dinner. What are you eating? Have fun tonight and be safe!

Oysters Saltimbocca

Mini Cherry Cheesecakes

Peanut Butter Rice Crispy Treats

Crockpot Porchetta

Roasted Eggplant and Yellow Pepper Dip

Love the food ideas–apparently we had similar thoughts! I made finger foods for NYE and pork on New Year's Day dinner. 🙂

What a great roundup! I've got a bumper crop of ichiban eggplants and peppers in the garden now, and your delicious dip is a must try for me. Looks delicious!

I like the look of that roasted eggplant and yellow pepper dip! Something different, for a change.
