Phillies Ballpark Food!

Last night, our family enjoyed a game at Citizens Bank Park to watch the Philadelphia Phillies. Did I mention they are now in first place? It was a beautiful night to catch a game and I took my camera to capture some pictures of the kids. Of course, I also captured some of the ballpark food because what’s a baseball game without junk food? So lets see what we ate……………..

Of course, they have what every other ball park has. Pretzels, popcorn and hot dogs were in every corner!

The kids had to get their Philadelphia water ice too!

Have you heard of The Schmitter? We had to try one and it has a little bit of everything!

You can’t go to this park without having Chickie and Pete’s crab fries. While the kids were eating typical ball park fries, the hubby and I were munching on these spicy fries with a side of cheese.

The hit of the night was the cheese steak from Tony Lukes. This is a good old Philadelphia cheese steak smothered in sharp provolone cheese and sauteed broccoli rabe. I like to add a little ketchup. Okay, now we’re full! I promise I’ll have a salad recipe next time!

The cheesesteak is calling to me….along with every other thing! I would be happy with a pretzel too.

Thanks for the post, love the pictures! I finally made it to the Newark Bears Stadium this summer and loved the atmosphere and the food. So much fun for not so much money, compared to NYC stadium prices. We've gone twice this summer and planning to check out the other minor league stadiums in NJ next summer.

I'm all about the food at a baseball game too. Sounds like a fun evening!

What a fun time. All the food looks great but that cheesesteak is calling my name.
