A while back I was a lucky recipient of a case of Pom Wonderful Juice. I love eating pomegranates and the juice is just as good. I had meant to make a few recipes sooner but the juice kept disappearing from the fridge. There are a few people in my house that love to take the juice and drink it straight up, mixed with another juice or splashed in some club soda. I personally like pomegranate martinis.
The juice is filled with plenty of antioxidants so I don’t mind running to the store to refill the fridge. Drink up hubby and children!
Yesterday was a beautiful warm day and the weather made me crave a smoothie. So I took out my Pom Wonderful and made a healthy , sweet but tart drink. I was not the only one to think this way. Barbara Bakes also made a great smoothie. I will be trying hers next.
Pom Banana Strawberry Smoothie
1 frozen banana
6 ounces strawberry yogurt
4 ounces Pom Wonderful juice
a few ice cubes
strawberries for garnish
Blend banana, yogurt, juice and ice cubes until smooth. Garnish tall glass with strawberries and enjoy. Makes one serving.
