Pom is Wonderful in a Smoothie!

A while back I was a lucky recipient of a case of Pom Wonderful Juice. I love eating pomegranates and the juice is just as good. I had meant to make a few recipes sooner but the juice kept disappearing from the fridge. There are a few people in my house that love to take the juice and drink it straight up, mixed with another juice or splashed in some club soda. I personally like pomegranate martinis.

The juice is filled with plenty of antioxidants so I don’t mind running to the store to refill the fridge. Drink up hubby and children!

Yesterday was a beautiful warm day and the weather made me crave a smoothie. So I took out my Pom Wonderful and made a healthy , sweet but tart drink. I was not the only one to think this way. Barbara Bakes also made a great smoothie. I will be trying hers next.

Pom Banana Strawberry Smoothie

1 frozen banana
6 ounces strawberry yogurt
4 ounces Pom Wonderful juice
a few ice cubes
strawberries for garnish
Blend banana, yogurt, juice and ice cubes until smooth. Garnish tall glass with strawberries and enjoy. Makes one serving.

Hmmmm Thatboy would make me add honey or grape juice or both to sweeten it up a bit.

We're drinking a big POM smoothie right now too. I went a little crazy & added strawberries, raspberries & cherries so its nice & red

I have the same case of pom sitting in my fridge with zero clue what to do with it. My normal go to drink is 3/4 pineapple with 1/4 pom drizzled on top of it with mint and simple syrup.

I do love a quick smoothie in the morning though.

Sounds delish! I just recently made my first smoothie, and I too went with banana strawberry. Only thing is, I didn’t have the Pom. I will have to buy some and try it!
