Good Thursday morning everyone! The kind folks at Pillsbury are giving THREE of my readers this adorable gift basket which includes:

one coupon for Pillsbury refrigerated crescent rolls
a magnetic coupon holder
a house-shaped mouse pad
pot holders
a cookie sheet
a bread basket
a lovable Pillsbury Dough boy figurine

All you have to do is leave a comment telling me what your favorite Pillsbury Product is or what your favorite family holiday memory is. I love Pillsbury crescent rolls to make quick “pigs in a blanket”. The kids always gobble these up.

Please also check out The Pillsbury Home for the Holidays site. Pillsbury is helping stock America’s food banks. Every time you forward their commercial to your friends and family, Pillsbury will make a generous donation of one pound of groceries to America’s food banks! Please help this great cause. While you’re there, you might also want to browse some quick, easy, holiday recipes.

Unfortunately the gift baskets can only be shipped to US postal addresses. The giveaway will end on Sunday, December 7th at 10 PM EST. I will be randomly drawing and announcing the winners on Monday, December 8th. If you do not have a link to a blog, please leave your email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win. I’d love to win one of the baskets! I love Grands! Biscuits and Grands! Cinnamon Rolls with the cream cheese icing, and I love Crescents too!

Also, my favorite holiday memory is every year, we bundle up the kids the night before Christmas Eve and go for a long drive around our city. We drive in and out of neighborhoods looking for the best Christmas light displays while listening to Christmas CDs. I look forward to it every year!

Laura P. December 4, 2008 at 12:59 pm

I love the big fat cinnamon rolls with the Philly Cream Cheese frosting. Yummy!

Laura Allmon December 4, 2008 at 1:08 pm

I use the cresents to make apple dumplings…they are the best. The lady at the B&B I had my wedding at served them to us the next morning and I fell in love.

rain December 4, 2008 at 1:22 pm

the reduced fat crescent rolls are my go-to for pigs in blankets, too! only i use tofu pups instead of hotdogs.

Pam December 4, 2008 at 1:54 pm

Yum. What a tasty basket of goodies.

I love the biscuits that have a ton of layers and you can eat them one by one (not sure what they are called).

pxilated December 4, 2008 at 1:55 pm

I sometimes use Pillsbury Pizza Crusts to make Cheese Sticks if I’m pressed for time and they are always a big hit no matter where I take them

michelle @ TNS December 4, 2008 at 2:00 pm

is there any answer OTHER than pigs in a blanket? i can’t think of any other reason to eat a crescent roll.

Barbara December 4, 2008 at 2:01 pm

Lisa, I need a new mouse pad so I’m wishing for luck on this one. Of course after my PBO experience, I’m totally in love with these people. My favorite Pillsbury product is their cinnamon rolls.

Our family Christmas tradition is my daughter and I to make Mexican food every Christmas Eve. We are Germans, but can’t get enough of Mexican food.

biz319 December 4, 2008 at 2:05 pm

Hope I win! 😀

My mom used to make “hammin” pinwheels. It was diced ham and swiss cheese in the middle – she used crescent rolls but left them square. Put ham and cheese on the inside and then pinched the corners together in the middle.

Then brushed with butter and bread crumbs and baked. She used a basic white sauce with lots of pepper and poured that over the top. Kinda sounds gross, but it was good!

Crystal December 4, 2008 at 2:39 pm

I love the Pillsbury pizza crust to make vegetable pizza with!! so yummy!

Chandani December 4, 2008 at 3:07 pm

I love the frozen Grands Biscuts and the pie crusts!

one frugal lady December 4, 2008 at 4:07 pm

Hmmm. it seems in my house that food and memories always go together. I could tell you what I ate on my first date with my husband, the last thing I ate before I delivered our first baby…. and so on. We love food around here, especially crescent rolls! Yum!

Allie December 4, 2008 at 4:30 pm

My latest addiction is the Pillsbury crescent roll full sheet. We’re hooked on making breakfast pizza with it.

I love everything Pillsbury has but my fav is the cinnamon rolls with cinnabon cinnamon because when I make them on Saturdays he wakes up all excited cause they’re his fav!

Peter M December 4, 2008 at 4:54 pm

Lisa…the obvious choice is Cinnamon buns!

jtr4511 December 4, 2008 at 5:04 pm

I don’t think there is a product that Pillsbury makes that I don’t like. The Grand Biscuits are especially a favorite at our house and the pizza crust is popular also.

Have way to many favorite Christmas memories – they’d take up a whole page.

Thanks for the offer!

Happy Holidays!

Crescent Rolls are by far my favorite Pillsbury product. They are my one indulgence even though I am trying to lose weight.

giz December 4, 2008 at 11:39 pm

Can you even believe that I’ve reached this age (not telling what either) and have never EVER used a Pillsbury product. How did that happen?

Alli December 5, 2008 at 12:19 am

I love the crescent rolls. And I’ve started using the biscuits for crockpot chicken and dumplings!

The Inexperienced Foodie December 5, 2008 at 1:13 am

Susan December 5, 2008 at 3:01 am

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

Days like These! December 5, 2008 at 3:41 am

cinnamon rolls!!!!!!

Beeb December 5, 2008 at 4:13 am

What a great giveaway!! I would put all of those items to good use. I need another cookie sheet, too. 🙂

I also love the crescent rolls, I make a recipe similar to yours for Halloween, except it’s “Mummy Hot Dogs”. You wrap the hot dog in the crescent rolls to make it look like a mummy, and then give it “eyes” by dotting on mustard. This is a tradition here every Halloween. Hey, that was my favorite Pillsbury product and a holiday memory all in one! 🙂

Thank you for the chance!

I have a favorite hoilday tradition. Every Christmas Eve my siblings and I got pajamas from our parents. They matched. There were five of us!!!! It sounds terribly corny, but it was (is) great. 😀

Jennifer December 6, 2008 at 9:36 am

Hi Lisa, What a fun give away! Like you, we would really miss the franks in blankets at the holiday parties. I know that they do not speak to the gourmet in us, but they are comfort food and the kids look forward to them every year. So the crescent rolls would be the top choice.
♥, Susan
