Does Anyone Like Chocolate?

by jerseygirl on October 8, 2008 · 42 comments

Did anyone notice anything different? I hope you did. Thank you for all the nice complements on my new blog design. I would love to take all the credit, however The Trendy Mommy put it all together for me. Thank you, Trendy Mommy for such a great job! If you are interested in spiffing up your blog, I’m sure she could help. Just click on her link in my sidebar.

Now let’s get down to business and talk about chocolate. I want to introduce you to this great chocolate that I bought at my grocery store last week. Looky, looky……

When I saw chili, I had to buy it. I was interested in what it would taste like. It was different and it was delicious. It had the flavor of a nice smooth dark chocolate with a bite at the end. It wasn’t super spicy as my children tried it and liked it. It is definitely more for grown ups and it would work great with a glass of red wine. As a matter of fact, I will be having some with wine next time. I didn’t want to eat the whole thing myself so I shared with my neighbor. She liked it also. I give it a big thumbs up.

While we are on the subject of chocolate, I want to thank Patsy from Family, Friends and Food. Last week she gave me the I’m a Chocoholic award. Her blog is super sweet and now I would like to pass it on to some other chocolate worthy blogs. Check out the following great blogs for some sweetness.

Recipe Girl

Honeyed Hashette

The Life and Loves of Grumpy’s Honeybunch

La Bella Cook

Clumsy Cookie

I am off to bed early tonight. Hubby and I went into Philadelphia and we had lunch at Fogo de Chao. It was such a great treat but all the food I ate made me really tired. I will tell you all about it next time you visit. Good night!

I love the new look! I like Lindt chocolate too, but I’m not sure if I’m ready for chili chocolate. However, since you give it a thumbs up, I may try it!

the new look is super!
I’ve been seeing several different chocolate/chili bars popping up at the market. I will have to pick one up today and give it a try after reading your post. I’ve also seen an earl grey one that I’ve been wanting to try. I’m not a chocolate lover, but all these new infused chocolates have me curious.

I am a chocolate chili lover too! The best I have tried is from Chuoa Chocolatiers! Very spendy, but worth every bite!

ChefDruck October 16, 2008 at 11:56 pm

I love the new template – looks amazing. I’m a chocoholic too, but had never been very adventurous until the other night when I had a chocolate experience with Clay Gordon – a professional chocolate critic. He has a chocolate network called The Chocolate Life – you have to check it out!
