More Martha……..

I continue to blog live from the Martha Stewart Show. This is so exciting. I was up at the ungodly hour of 4:30 am. It was a nice train ride and I arrived in the big city at 7:30. I didn’t have to be at the studio entrance until 8:30 so I had a whole hour to walk around. Of all the things to eat and drink in NYC, guess what I had? A banana! Yes, and it only cost me 25 cents. I didn’t know you could buy anything in NYC for 25 cents. You probably think I am crazy, however I didn’t want to have the jitters from coffee or eat anything that would upset my stomach.

I just met some wonderful bloggers….Debbie from Jersey Bites, Vanessa from Chefdruck and Amy from Dinners For a Year and Beyond. I had already had plans to meet up with Veronica from Supermarket Serenade. We are cooking contest buddies and it was great to see her. As a matter of fact , we are sitting right next to each other.

Perez Hilton is the first blogging guest. For those of you that are not familiar with him, he is a celebrity gossip champion. Can you believe he wakes up at 3:57 am to start blogging. He blogs about 50 to 60 times a day for 12 hours plus. Wow, I would really have a sore butt from sitting at my computer for that long! Would that be called blogging butt?
Martha has two food bloggers on the show. Matt from Matt Bites and Debra from Smitten Kitchen. They both have great recipe blogs and Matt is making cookies with Martha. Talk about intimidating!
Martha is also having a home design blogger, a cute things blogger, two political bloggers and a gardening blogger on the show. The studio is spectacular! It has a kitchen I can only dream of! Even the bowl of apples on the counter are perfect looking. Might I add that Martha is even more attractive in person than she is on TV.

The show is coming to an end and there is a nice surprise for the audience. We all get HP wireless printers shipped to us. YIPPEE! We also get a book and cute calendar box to take home.

Martha is doing one more segment for an upcoming show. It is a best hot dog show and she has to try 27 types of hot dogs to see what she likes best. There is a long table filled with any type of hot dog you can imagine. Even hot dogs with mac and cheese! The aroma of hot dogs smells good but the thought of trying 27 is not a feat I would want to attempt.

After leaving the studio, Veronica and I meet up with my best friend from high school. We go to lunch and are heading back to catch our trains. Here is a picture of myself and Veronica.

I pass by a Sabretts hot dog wagon and I am tempted to buy one. I decide I am a little too full from lunch. Instead I stop at a bakery and get some cookies for the kiddos and bagels to take home. You can’t leave NYC without a bag of bagels.

And look what I am having for dinner……………………

I just couldn’t resist! After all that hot dog talk, I couldn’t get hot dogs out of my mind. I like deli style dogs with spicy mustard and onions. The NYC onions in sauce are the best. Hubby likes his with mustard and ketchup. I am going to regret eating these hot dogs but hey, you only live once. Good night, everybody!
